04 Registration & Reading Assignments
Enlisting Readers
- If done by your own Church/Group (alone), setup a Register and invite Readers to register.
- They may choose their portion (Chapters) or Person in charge may assign it.
- If done by several Churches/Groups together, communicate with all, enlist and Register.
Assign Reading Block(s) taking various factors in consideration:
- Size of Team of Readers from each participating Church/Group
- Average age of Readers (if known) especially if many children on a Reading Team
- Travel distance of Teams as consideration may be necessary for Teams from far distances to be assigned day time readings as far as possible
- Note that some books of the Bible (e.g. 1 Chronicles) are more challenging to read than others
Backup Readers
- Arrange for Backup Readers who can be readily available to read at short notice in the event a Reading Team does not show up
- Backup Readers must be able to read with excellence without preparation
