The Genesis of Global Bible Marathon
The Bible Marathon began as the Tobago Bible Marathon in 2014 and has occurred annually with over 500 readers each year.
It involves children, teens, youths, adults and seniors from over seventy five Churches, Christian Organizations and Schools. The Tobago Bible Marathon transitioned to become the Global Bible Marathon in 2020.
The Ministry is led by Pastors of the Caribbean island of Tobago.
Churches and Organizations have joined together during the first five days of each New Year for the 5 day Tobago Bible Marathon.
The Team of leading Pastors – Knowles McCall, Cuthbert Gordon, Michael Williams, Robinson Alleyne and David Elder, along with the Working Committee are launching out on a Divinely directed mandate to invite Pastors, Churches, Youth and Christian Organisations around the World to organise many Global Bible Marathons to begin on New Year’s Day 2024 for five days.
Conducted, In-Person yearly (Online via ZOOM in 2021 and 2022).
Purpose
The purpose being to proclaim Jesus Christ in non-stop all day all night public reading of the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
This proclamation normally occurs before a live local listening audience and is aired on local cable television and streamed live online to listeners and viewers around the World.

Bible Days Online
In 2020 and 2021, Bible Days Online was presented for Easter and Pentecost.
This involves dozens of Readers joining together via Zoom with live stream to YouTube and Facebook.
Portions of Scripture (example Synoptic Gospels, the writings of John, Luke, Psalms) were read beginning at 12 noon and extending for approximately 4 to 6 hours each day.

Who is involved
The Bible Marathon has been organized by Pastors of the Caribbean Island of Tobago. Preparations are now being made for their tenth New Years Bible Marathon which is presented annually since 2014.
Over 500 Readers including children, teens, youths, adults and seniors. (It can be done with any number of readers).
Pastors and leaders around the World are invited to JOIN, in presenting a massive Global Witness in the annual GBM with Marathons in your Church, City, Community, Country.

At your Church or any venue of your choice in your City or Community.
In every Language, Country and City around the World where Pastors, Churches and Leaders organize to join a GBM.
You can organise a Marathon with any number of available readers.
How to host and organize a Bible Marathon
Reading Assignments – Books and Chapters of the Bible are assigned in advance.
Readers/Teams attend and read for their appointed time.

What does it cost to host a Bible Marathon?
Contributions by the participating Churches or Groups as determined by the Organizers to cover advance promotion to create awareness and interest in the local community.
Also to cover meals and refreshments for workers during the five days and other expenses associated with conducting events.

Changed lives of both Participating Readers and Viewers/ Listeners.
